Case Study:
Virginia Lottery
The Virginia Lottery produces more than a half-dozen daily live draw shows. With each show, the Lottery expects high quality, error-free productions. The Lottery started to experience a number of shows with production errors including incorrect camera framing, missing audio and wrong graphic information which is crucial to the Lottery’s operations. The quality of the drawings was rapidly diminishing.
The Crewestone Solution:
The Virginia Lottery tapped the Broadcast and Production expertise of Crewestone Technologies to manage and create a plan to reduce its overall discrepancy rate. Crewestone's assessment of the lottery operation was accomplished using a three–phase approach: Evaluation of Past Discrepancies, Evaluation of Immediate repair or replacement, Evaluation of Production techniques and discrepancies. Crewestone placed a Quality Assurance Manager on every live drawing to assess the skill levels of the production staff and the effectiveness of the production procedures Crewestone produced results. In the first six months of the contract, a significant decrease in operational errors occurred. The results were an increase in production value and a near flawless on-air product.
