WorldfestCrewestone Technologies wins two Awards at the WorldFest- Houston International Film Festival. Crewestone Technologies was honored with the Prestigious award of the Platinum Remi Award Winning entry “SOLAR STORMS, A TALK WITH ASTRONOMER STEN ODENWALD” and Gold Remi Award Winning entry "JEFFERSON LAB: EXPLORING THE NATURE OF MATTER." The awards were in the Film & Video Productions - Science & Research and Film & Video Productions - Corporate Communication divisions.

More than 4,400 category entries were competing from 33 countries. There were over 50 entries in the specific categories of competition. Our sincerest congratulations to Producer William Bensen and his team for the outstanding creative excellence of the fine award-winning entries in the 43rd Annual WorldFest-Houston.

Crewestone videographer, Rob Lorkiewicz is named NASA's best in the "2009 Videographer of the Year"

Crewestone Technologies Inc. is proud to announce Videographer, Robert Lorkiewicz was named NASA's best, according to the agency's Videographer of the Year 2009 awards. Rob Lorkiewicz placed in the top three in NASA's video production category for the "Aerothermodynamics Lab Capabilities" video which was was commissioned by NASA Langley to show customers how wind tunnels can contribute to their research.

A panel of "motion media professionals" from NASA and national organizations judged videos in three Videographer of the Year categories: documentation, production and on-orbit. They rated the three-minute entries on professional excellence, technical quality, originality, creativity within restrictions of the project, and applicability to NASA and its mission.

“History and Science of Wind Tunnels at NASA-Langley” selected as a finalist in this year’s New York Festival 2009 Film and Video Competition

New York Festivals (NYF) selected “History and Science of Wind Tunnels at NASA-Langley” as a finalist in this year’s 2009 Film and Video Competition. Produced by Crewestone Technologies, the program won in the category of Distance Learning.

NYF now in its 51st year, is an International Award recognizing The World’s Best Work™ in advertising. programming and global communications.

VSU awarded CTI a radio maintenance and analog-to-digital upgrade contract in May 2009

Virginia State University radio station, FM 91.3 WVST, awarded Crewestone Technologies Incorporated with a contract to upgrade their current technical operation from analog to digital and to make any other recommendations needed for a state-of-the-art facility.

After CTI thoroughly evaluated VSU’s radio station, our engineers designed and implemented a transition plan, which is currently in progress and to be completed by September 2010.
